Previous story Day 29 – This info is from my guide book: is considered a masterpiece of baroque design; at the height of it’s monastic community, it controlled over 100 churches, 200 towns and 300 other monasteries. Pirates plundered it several times as it was known for it’s wealth. It survived two fires in 1536 and 1951.

Day 34 – underneath the alter in the cathedral are the bones of St. James the Apostle. There are many routes across Spain for the Camino but I did the French route. It is also called the Way of St. James. It is the most popular route. I wanted to do this one because of it’s connection Jesus’ apostle James.
Day 34 – Me in the plaza with my certificate and my smile! I am proud of my accomplishment. Thank you for all your support!
