Next story Day 32 – this is a horreo which you see all over this area around (city Palas de Rei). They are used to store grains or dry goods and are on platforms to keep them away from rodents and water. Prior to knowing this, I speculated pilgrims that couldn’t make it to Santiago were put in these containers to keep from having bad press.

Day 34 – underneath the alter in the cathedral are the bones of St. James the Apostle. There are many routes across Spain for the Camino but I did the French route. It is also called the Way of St. James. It is the most popular route. I wanted to do this one because of it’s connection Jesus’ apostle James.
Day 34 – Me in the plaza with my certificate and my smile! I am proud of my accomplishment. Thank you for all your support!
