Losing something on the Camino #2

I have a friend I met awhile back while walking the meseta. Her name is Crystal and she is from Kentucky.  I told her that story about the lost shoe and she told me her lost item story.   She was walking and wanted to take a picture, reached for her phone and it wasn’t there.  As you can imagine, panic set in.  She had no idea where she lost it.  She turns around and sees this guy back aways and he is running in her direction holding a phone in the air.  She recognizes it as her phone by the color of the case.  This guy has no idea whose phone he is holding.  And he has been running for a while.  He is running towards people ahead of him on the Camino since obviously someone behind him would not have lost this phone!  Crystal waved him down and claimed the phone.  The guy was breathing really heavy from all the running he had done.  Just like the shoe story, the pilgrim had no idea how he would find the owner of the phone; no idea how long he was going to run.  This bubble I’m in while walking the Camino is quite remarkable.

There are way more good people out there than bed. Very inspirational.
