- Next story Day 29 – This info is from my guide book: is considered a masterpiece of baroque design; at the height of it’s monastic community, it controlled over 100 churches, 200 towns and 300 other monasteries. Pirates plundered it several times as it was known for it’s wealth. It survived two fires in 1536 and 1951.
